  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, herbs, (if desired) and salt together.
  3. Cut butter into very small diced cubes. Then add to mixture and “pinch or massage” the butter into the mixture until it begins to look similar to cornmeal.
  4. Slowly add milk into the mixture and start to knead dough with your fingers and add milk when necessary.
  5. Pinch of chunks of the dough and roll into evenly sized balls.
  6. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.
