Crust
  1. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in water, a tablespoon at a time, until mixture forms a ball. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Take the ball and wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Roll dough out to fit a 9 inch pie plate. Place crust in pie plate.
  4. Press the dough evenly into the bottom and sides of the pie plate.
Filling
  1. Heat oven to 400°F.
  2. In large bowl, gently mix the Filling ingredients.
  3. Pour into pie plate, mounding apples toward center.
Topping
  1. In medium bowl use your fingers to mix butter, flour, oats and the brown sugar until a crumb forms.
  2. Sprinkle evenly over top of pie.
  3. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon granulated sugar on top.
  4. Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until pie crust and crumb topping are deep golden brown and filling begins to bubble.
  5. Transfer to cooling rack to cool.
  6. Serve warm or at room temperature with warm vanilla bean ice cream!

  1. Pre-heat an oven to 350F. Butter a large baking dish (approximately 8 x 8 or use an unbuttered tart dish).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the apples, blackberries, lemon zest, lemon juice, brown sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon. Stir well to combine.
  3. Pour into prepared baking dish.
  4. In another bowl combine the flour, brown sugar, butter, almonds and pinch of salt. Using your hands mix well making sure the butter is incorporated until mixture is nice and crumbly.
  5. Spread the topping over the apple and blackberry mixture and bake for 45 – 50 minutes or until the apples are tender and the fruit juices in the crisp are bubbling around the edges.
  6. Transfer the baking dish to a wire rack and cool for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.

  1. Halve your avocado and remove the pit. Scoop whole from skin and chop avocado into small pieces.
  2. Gently fold the shrimp into Marie’s Thousand Island Dressing.
  3. Fill avocado shells which shrimp mixture and sprinkle seasonings to taste on top.

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it begins to render fat; add onion and cook until just crispy, about 10 minutes, then add corn.
  2. Continue cooking, stirring or shaking pan occasionally, until corn begins to brown a bit, about 5 more minutes; remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes. Drain fat if you wish.
  3. Put lime juice in a large bowl and add bacon-corn mixture; then toss with remaining ingredients. Taste, adjust the seasoning and serve warm or at room temperature.
  4. Garnish with fresh basil, cherry tomatoes, and avocado!

  1. Thickly grate your zucchini or squash and remove excess water by squeezing it.
  2. In medium mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, seed, baking soda, and salt) and mix thoroughly.
  3. In stand mixer, beat eggs for about 30 seconds.
  4. Melt butter and coconut oil (if using coconut oil) then add into the mixer with the eggs along with vanilla and sugar and beat until thoroughly mixed.
  5. Turn mixer to low and add the dry ingredients until fully mixed in.
  6. Gently fold in zucchini and chocolate chips.
  7. Place in greased 9x9 pan.
  8. Add additional chocolate chips on top.
  9. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
  10. Let cool and then cut into 3"x3" squares.
  11. Optional Garnish: Sprinkle with a little sea salt and additional zucchini before serving.

Instructions
  1. Thoroughly cook your chicken until there is no longer pink and yet still tender. I cook mine in my air-fryer for 22 minutes so that it is slightly brown and crispy on the outside yet juicy on the inside. You can also cook this in the same pan as the veggies noted in step 3.
  2. In a large skillet over medium high heat, add the olive oil. Sauté all of your the veggies until tender. Remove from the pan and set aside on a plate.
  3. You can add the chicken to the same pan you cooked the veggies in and cook until tender and no longer pink.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, chicken broth, garlic and cornstarch.
  5. Add the vegetables back to the skillet with the chicken and pour sauce on top.
  6. Simmer until sauce starts to thicken and serve over rice if desired.

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the pork with the salt and brown in the skillet for 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  3. Transfer the pork to a 6-quart or larger slow cooker.
  4. Pour the salsa verde sauce evenly over the pork.
  5. Cover and cook until the pork is tender normally 7 to 8 hours on the LOW setting.
  6. Serve the finished pork chile verde over rice.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro.

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, herbs, (if desired) and salt together.
  3. Cut butter into very small diced cubes. Then add to mixture and "pinch or massage" the butter into the mixture until it begins to look similar to cornmeal.
